On Christmas Eve, my husband set out for what was supposed to be a quick ride through the mountains. That ride took a devastating turn when he was hit head-on by another motorcycle. Luckily, my husband was discharged—but Brandon stayed until the very end, proving that in this community, we take care of our own. That day, he wasn’t just a fellow rider—he became family.

Now, Brandon is in the fight of his life. He beat stage 2 colon cancer, but just when he thought the battle was over, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He recently underwent surgery and now faces six months of chemotherapy. Just like he stood by my husband, we’re standing by him.
